I am so freaking excited. I'm getting ready for a last-minute trip to Prague to celebrate my birthday next month.
I don't think I've talked about it here on the blog just yet, but up until last year we (me, boyfriend, dog) were living the #vanlife and to be honest, I'd give up my apartment in a heartbeat to go back to the gypsy life. Unfortunately as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we had to put the van life on the back burner.
In a few more days, I'll be reunited with my boyfriend and our beloved Sprinter, the Explorer! The plan is to road-trip from Frankfurt to Prague.
There are definitely among the places I'm dying to check out!
KGB Museum
After watching Kara and Nate on Youtube, we were inspired by the episode where they visit the KGB House to learn more about this... organization. The one Kara and Nate visited was in Latvia, so I'm curious to see what the museum in Prague will be like. I have always been fascinated with what sorts of things are going on, right underneath our noses.
The Museum of Alchemists and Magicians of Old Prague
This is probably super random, but I am a HUGE Fire Emblem fan. I have completed Fire Emblem 7 about a dozen times. And yes, it's the series Roy and Ike from Super Smash Brothers came from. In Fire Emblem, there's a lot of magic. Nature magic, light magic, dark magic... I am not entirely sure how many of these old alchemists were actually successful in turning things into gold, but it'll be awesome to find out.
Lennon Wall
I firmly believe that street artists are among the most important factors in facilitating social change. They are relentless in spreading their message through art, no matter how many times it gets painted over or taken down. They will not be silenced.
I grew up listening to the Beatles. Of course I need to see the Lennon Wall.
